Conference & Annual General Meeting plus Post-Conference Seminar
April 28 & 29, 2012 at the Arbutus Club, 2001 Nanton, Vancouver
The 9th annual WCHS Conference will emphasize Homeopathy from Conception to Lactation, which is the theme of the 2012 Homeopathy Awareness Month in Canada.
The Keynote Speaker this year will be Carole Summer, homeopath and midwife, who lives and practices in Kaslo, BC. Her Saturday presentation, entitled Making Dreams Come True; How Homeopathy can address the challenges of conception in the 21st century, will explore issues of infertility and conception in the homeopathic context. With cultural attitudes that make normal pregnancy and natural childbirth a rare event, how can homeopaths guide women and their families to healthy outcomes? Audience participation will be encouraged.
Carol's full-day presentation on Sunday will use cases to illustrate the homeopath's role in guiding pregnant patients through their fears and expectations and enabling them to trust their bodies and the homeopathic process. In the same way that the medical world uses pregnancy and childbirth to inculcate patients into their medicinal paradigm, you can bring families into your homeopathic practice by treating women during this vital childbearing year.
Other speakers will be announced shortly.
As in the past, this conference will provide an opportunity for all members of the homeopathic community to network with your colleagues, expand your knowledge base, and identify resources and products that you can use in your practice.
Be sure to mark your calendars now. We hope to see you there!
