Following a commitment in the September 2005 Throne Speech to engage in a genuine conversation with British Columbians about health, the BC government has initiated Conversation on Health to involve all citizens in a discussion about the future of our health care system.

According to the government announcement, “Currently in B.C. health costs equal: $400+ per second / $24,000 per minute / $35 million per day”.  Those of us familiar with the benefits of homeopathy know that a considerable savings would be possible by the increased use of homeopathic treatment across BC.

What Can You Do?

Over the next year, British Columbians will be able to provide input into the Conversation on Health in a number of ways:

With more and more British Columbians turning to professional homeopaths for treatment and long-term wellness and prevention benefits, their voices need to be heard in this Conversation.

In particular, we urge patients and professionals to sign up now to participate in Regional Forums, to be held in 16 communities between February 3 to July 7, 2007.  Each forum will be limited to 100 participants, randomly selected from among those who have pre-registered.  This means that pre-registering is no guarantee of participation but it is your best chance to be heard during this Conversation on Health.
